  • The redesign process began with comprehensive research and analysis. We conducted user surveys, interviews, and studied website analytics to gain insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points. We also conducted a competitive analysis to identify industry best practices and emerging trends in the industry.

Armed with valuable user insights, we focused on creating a user-centric website that prioritised ease of use and seamless navigation. We developed user personas to better understand the target audience and crafted a design strategy to cater to their needs. The goal was to ensure that visitors could quickly find relevant information, products, and engage with the brand effortlessly.

  • The website's visual design was refreshed to align with Brecon Carreg's brand identity and values. A clean, modern aesthetic with a touch of Welsh heritage was adopted. The colour palette reflected the natural beauty of the Welsh landscape, while typography choices enhanced readability and conveyed a sense of trust and reliability.

The information architecture was revamped to simplify the website's structure and improve content discoverability. A clear and intuitive navigation was implemented to guide users through sections of the site. We also reorganised and streamlined content to ensure it was easily accessible and comprehensible.

  • To increase user engagement and create an immersive experience, interactive elements were strategically incorporated. This included engaging visuals that conveyed the brand's story and values. These elements helped users connect emotionally with the brand and its commitment to sustainability.

Throughout the redesign process, usability testing and feedback sessions were conducted to gather user input and validate design decisions. This iterative approach allowed us to refine the website's functionality, address any usability issues, and further enhance the user experience.

“We worked with Steve on a complete redesign of the Brecon Carreg website. He took the time to listen to everything we wanted but also brought his own ideas and advice which was invaluable. He understood everything we needed to establish on the website and from start to finish, we felt that we could put our complete trust in him. The end result was a beautiful website that gets lots of compliments! We’d have no hesitation in recommending him.”
